Guest guest
> > This has always been at the top of my mind when thinking of this condition. I sometimes take them for granted as though anyone with this condition would be aware of them but maybe not. The biggest by far is cheese and dairy products followed by chocalate. If i were to have pizza or have milk i will suffer a gread deal of nasal congestion so i have literally given up my favorite food. Wine was also a thing i can do longer partake in, i believe it to be the sulfites among aother things. Anyway Kathleen had pased the question so i thought i would post it. > I thought I was the only one that suffers from that condition, infact if i eat anything white, like, white flour, white rice, milk, chees, pizza, i develope a serious case of mucus drain and it aint pretty! so i know exactly what u mean. we are just allergic to those foods, all we can do is avoid them! its not worth the discomforts. I have to admit i do every now and then.

Guest guest
At first I didn't believe that food could trigger a flare. However, I was really surprised when I did a little experiment to prove the theory. I have/had read that red meat is a trigger for RA and I put this to the test. I did not eat any read meat for two weeks and noticed my swelling had gone down considerably. The third week I ate red meat for dinner and the next morning I was swollen. I have since cut red meat out of my diet and to my surprise on my last visit with my Rheumy my CRP levels had dropped. Coincidence maybe, but I don't think so. This may not work for everybody as they may have different food triggers. Heidi in Denver From: <arnegraphics@...> Subject: [ ] Food Triggers Date: Tuesday, October 5, 2010, 9:31 PM  Does anyone have specific food trigger that aggrevate your RA? r> Arne
