your welcome Dayna I had always been a fast eater as well the bad habit started in college since I didn't have time to eat between classes. IE has taught me to eat more slowly and enjoy my food.

Thank you for sharing that article. I, for one, have always been a fast eater. I always blame it on trying to eat between the never-ending needs of the children. I'm trying to find the time to actually sit down and eat. God Bless,Dayna:)

Why is it that in photographs, videos, new reels, etc. about

overweight people, all the big bodied people have their heads cut

off in the shots!?! Like big people have no identity...

I'm a fast eater too but it stems from childhood. There are 5 kids in my family so I had to eat fast or else you didn't get much. It was like a race to see who could get done first and get seconds first. My mother always made sure that I didn't get as much though because I was fat. I was only ever allowed 2 tacos while my skinny sister would get 3 or 4!

I think I "learned" fast eating when I became a teacher--which is when I started needing help with my eating habits. The teachers' lounge really isn't a lounge anymore. We're usually eating as we copy, grade, work, etc... Not good!
