Guest guest
Donna: I have a new belly button. It's still red and I'm not going to say what it reminds me of now, but I'll let you know after a while. Standing up is a gradual process. I saw a doctor at a social gathering last night and he mentioned I still wasn't standing up straight, although I thought I was after 4 weeks. You are *really* bent over for 2-3 weeks. But like all other things, you gradually straighten up. TT questions > For those of you that have had one I have a couple of questions about tummy > tucks. > 1. Guest guest
Donna: I kept my belly button, although my RNY scar which was revised to a hairline scar extends down from it to the horizontal scar. Can anyone think of a good tattoo? I am not quite 5 weeks from surgery and just went back to the gym with my trainer....he was more nervous than I was. We just went through all of the motions without more than 5-10# of weight. Just stretchy stuff. It went very well and I feel I'm really on my way. Guest guest
, A tattoo? Hmmmm? How about a ...... .......... ........a cute little kitty? Sorry, couldn't resist...Take it easy with that exercise--give yourself a chance to heal really well--take your protein and vitamins and get plenty of rest--that gym will be there next month--and hey, resting now is better than emergency surgery if you tear something. in Nebraska TT Questions > > > > << 1. Guest guest
Hi again, Dr. O left my belly button. I doesn't look like my original one; it's a tight vertical line with a circle scar around it. It does interrupt the vertical scar and looks a little strange. I make sure I hide it when I wear a two-piece bathing suit because I'm self conscious about it. It also feels weird; I don't like to touch it. I kinda wish I had asked him to forget about it. I had back aches because I couldn't stand up fully straight for about 3 weeks. Where I had wonderful posture before the TT, I find myself having to work at it now. I didn't sleep on my tummy for about a month and 1/2. Even now, it still burns if I flop down on the bed on my stomach. I actually bruised my scar about a month ago. I didn't know that was possible until I noticed a portion of it was black. A nurse at work told me that it can bruise. The bruise went away fairly quickly though. Call me and I can probably explain better and answer your questions. The recovery was quite different to me than the RNY. Different mind games. 815-5224 Becky Fulford Holden Beach, NC Open RNY 3/30/99; 255 then - 126 this morning = 129 pounds lost!
