Guest guest
It has long been known that pets/animal interaction reduce stress (and possibly pain) in those who have illness. The hospital I work at enlists service " visitation " dogs routinely and these help even short stay patients. Studies show blood pressure lowers, cortisol lowers and some elevation in endorphins occur. I know my demanding but darling Westies, Bella and Presley, do help me cope with stress much more effectively. I think any intervention to assist us RA folks, is a legitimate topic here.
