Guest guest
My brother in law just called to say the golfer Phil Mickelson was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. Same thing my hubby has. Of course hubby is on 6 pills of Methatrexate (spelled wrong I know). My B-I-L was asking me why hubby isn't on shots like the golfer is. Told him the doc is starting off on pills first and if it heads to shots, then so be it. Of course the golfer can afford the shots because he either paid out of pocket or has excellent insurance. Hubby goes back to the Rheumatologist this Friday so we'll get bloodwork results and see if his pills will increase or start talking shots. Not sure how far you can go on pills as in how many to take once a week. Will see if I can get some answers Friday. Tabby
