Guest guest
I've been taking methotrexate for almost 20 years and haven't been sick with anything other than a couple of bouts of pneumonia that may have been caused partially from the MTX. I certainly wouldn't even think of trying to 'boost his immune system'. That can be dangerous, fighting against the medicine taken to subdue the over-active immune system. Both of you will have to do all you can to keep from getting sick. Washing hands and the normal protective practices should be enough. Guest guest
I take it by injection as the pills made me so queasy and it is easy to do myself. It still works though I have been on various other drugs with it over the years - now it's Humira. I sort of pushed for the Humira and it has made me feel stronger. Beofre I was too fatigued to exercise much. My muscles just got way too tired. Now I have a bit more muscle than I had when I started, not that you would say I do much. It is a modified form of Pilates that I do Annette Wow you have been on methotrexate that long? Is it still working for you. I also have not gotten since in the two years since i started.
