Guest guest
Thanks honey, currently home on a lunch break. I was able to approve a few messages while home. Well it is almost time for me to go back to work. Today is basically a training day. Love Janetle <kdaniellem@...> wrote: Best of luck Janet! But hey be happy for me, I am getting to apply some of my education after a long time of not working. I haven't worked in since 2000 because of treatment, and being wore out because of Hepatitis C. It is time for me to get off my duffer and get to work. I think I am going to like my new job. I will be the only female working there, so is a male dominated work place. Hee Hee I can handle those guys!! Need to get my last sip of coffee and make my face pretty for the work day. Love you guys and Wish me luck. Guest guest
I will be working in Human Resources, working with people. I have a degree in psychology along with my nursing and have always wanted to use it. Now I get a chance. I did very well yesterday!! I got lots of kudo's from the guys because I just pitched in and did what was needed. I am still in oreintation but I learn quickly. Before long I was a really asset to the other lead associate because he got slammed with work. I was helping him and I know he appreciated my help. Love Janetanne <kanga2@...> wrote: You go girl!!! Guest guest
Hi, I will try later to respond to all the lovely posts. You all our so wonderful, and its so great to be part of a family. I'm not feeling well, been very sick since yesterday. After the rheumy visit, I went straight to bed. Not sure if it was the bp high or flu shot. It probably was bp. I got a steroid shot, so that will hopefully get me out of a flare. My x-rays showed progression in my left foot, pelvis, and right hip. So, that explains the extra pain, I've been having for awhile. I got my flu shot, and talked to the doc about the swine flu shot. I apologize for posting on the swine flu shot. She did tell me it was not a live vaccine, and I really needed to take it. I guess, after a man died in OK today from the swine flu. My BP was 150/100!!! She was very concerned with it. My primary doctor took me off my bp meds, since I was doing great. Now with this stress, I have to go back on bp meds:( I've been having headaches, and all symptoms of high bp, just have overlooked it. You all have a great day. Just know I'm here for everyone, just because I haven't posted. I will get back to posting, as soon as I feel better, promise. Take care, and pain free day to all, Tawny
Guest guest
Hi Tawny, Sorry to hear that you are still hurting and I am relieved that you saw your doctor. Hoping that your pain subsides soon and your BP gets back to normal too. Guest guest
Hi Tawny, No reply expected, Just glad to see you feel like posting some. Sorry to hear your are back on BP medicine. I have started waling 2 miles a day and have stopped taking Norvasc for BP. It was definitely the cause of my swollen ankles. So I have also been able to discontinue my Lasic and Potassium. I am still taken Avapro for BP. I am monitoring my BP daily and will be seeing my Dr in a couple of weeks. I had a coke one evening and my BP went up so I am also going to leave off caffine. Wishing everyone pain free days.
