Hi friends:

Just wanted to let you all know that had his EEG and EKG this past

Wednesday and met with his pediatrician Friday night. His EEG came back

mildly abnormal. There was no specific reason for the abnormality, only that

when measuring his waves, rather than the waves completely peaking indicating

seizure, his went up halfway and returned to normal. His pediatrician said

that he would be more at risk to have seizures that the " average " person, but

that's not to say that he would. I just love when doctors say things like

that...is that supposed to make me feel better????

He's now scheduled for an MRI and then has to see a child neurologist. The

pediatrician was truly concerned and spent a lot of time with us. I told him

about my recent dx of ACM, so they will be looking for that during his MRI.

I guess I know better than to expect them to find anything (unless very

obvious), especially after all I went thru, so I'll have to bring his MRI

with me to see Drs. Kula and Milhorat.

I am still waiting for Dr. Kula's office to schedule an appointment for

me...I guess they are not even calling anyone till December, but at least I'm

on the waiting list. Sometimes this process seems toooo long and now I'm

truly anxious since I now have to consider. I just feel so overwhelmed.

I'll keep everyone posted on 's results and want to thank all of you for

being soooo helpful. I'd also like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of

you and your families. Despite all of this, I know that God is with us thru

thick and thin. I am very blessed in many ways, just as we all are. Dealing

with chronic illness truly makes us appreciate the smallest of things on a

daily basis...

Love,

Dot
