Hi Janice:  I am sorry you have RA also.  It is a hard disease to live with.

First, you should not feel silly to call your Rheumy with symptons that are

causing you pain.  If your Rheumy makes you feel like a baby, then perhaps he is

not the Rheumy for you.  Maybe you should try to find another Rheumy.  We have a

Rheumy because we need a dr. that understands what we are going through, one who

will help us, and one that makes us feel comfortable telling them all of our

issues, etc.  No Dr. worth his salt would make you feel like that.

I hope you can get an appt. so you can get some help, and better pain meds.

Remember, we pay the Dr. to treat us.  Without patients, a doctors practice will

cease.

Wishing you pain free days ahead.  I hope you will be feeling better soon.

Hugs,

Barbara

I've been so busy with the kids that i have'nt had a chance to read up on all

the post and keep in touch with everyone. So, I hope every one is doing well.

As for me, I've been stragglining with my (RA). I've starded getting shot in my

rest, That was PAINFULL!!! The first time it did'nt hurt but the second time

ooomy! He set an appointment with me for a month. But im having issuses that i

have'nt had before, like i was watering my yeard and went to let go of the water

hose, and my hand would'nt open...that fightened me, never had that happen

before, or holding a cup of coffee..its the same thing. I do really good during

the day, full of smiles and energy, but come around 4or5, i have a narly

headack, and just plum tired. Somtimes i feel ill. this is along with my hands

hurting.

So, i guess my quistion is...is this normal? Should i wait for the whole month

or just call, even if i feel silly. Sometimes he makes me feel like a

baby...lol. Maybe i am...lol Any input helps.

Thanks

Janice G.
