Guest guest
INGA, I'm so sorry, but I don't remember, if the mom told me, how much the little girl weighed. I don't think I have her number, anymore either. We spoke about Early Intervention Services and the fact that she doesn't have a diagnosis yet for that much- loved expression " Failure to Thrive " . Sorry! ALSO-I signed Jake up for Gymnastics, he's soooooo excited. Naturally, when we were there registering, there was another mom with her son (of course, he was larger yet obviously younger). She asked me if we're going to be in the Mommy and Me program, too. I said, " no, he'll be in the 4/5 group " . She was literally starting to say how small he is, but, I just interrupted and said he'll have no problem with the separation and he's sooooo excited. She didn't finish her verbal thought. Now, my sister says I need to lighten up, but this comes after having visited several pre-schools earlier the same day and having the " teacher " at the first one say when we walked in " He's soooo tiny!!!! " . Well, that one was out!! I must say, however, the rest of the visits were without " he's soooo tiny " comments! I've come to the realization (actually long before my 34 yrs) that people are just plain stupid sometimes! Education is great, when it counts-like in the library with the other kids. And, I love the idea of the Just thought I'd throw that one out there, too. Sorry if I sound bitter, angry, PMS'g or whatever!! SO...HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!! Debbi, Jake's (and Hannah's-she reminds me-when she sees me writing all this RSS stuff) Mom http://www.go.com ________________________________________________________ ____ Get your Free GO Network Email address at http://mail.go.com
