Guest guest
Hi, everyone. I don't have " all " information, but will be passing on any that I learn in the very near future. My mother has come in contact with old high school friends after MANY, MANY years (my mom is 59 yrs. old). Anyway, she just found out that one of her friends children is diagnosed with RSS and he is now 27 years old. He was diagnosed in the early 1970's and since it was a fairly new syndrome, they didn't do very much in regards to gh, Periactin, g-tube, etc.. Anyway, he is now 5'3 " and weighs 103 lbs.. He is a P.E. high school teacher and doing VERY well. After my mom talked a LONG time with his father, my mom learned that he too went through a lot what we are going through as far as not eating, not growing, etc. etc.. I'm having my mom email me with all the details of him and will pass it on to you. His parents have a computer and are on the internet so my mom will be speaking with them about joining our group so they can share with us the hurdles they overcame, statistics of his weight/height growing up, and any other questions I'm sure we'll come up with. I just couldn't wait to tell you all that we have close contact with a 27 year old RSS male and parents that are willing to help in any way they can. If anyone has " specific " questions, please email me and I will pass them on to be answered until " if and when " they possibly will join the RSS list. Take care, Stacie Mommy to
