H1N1 forcing it on us

Hi everybody:

I have been reading everyday. Not where I want to be with my RA yet, but

getting there. Highest level of MTX, still on Enbrel, but yet still I swell,

avoiding predni like the plaque, but I may have to breakdown, because my ankle

is hurting, swollen, plantar fascitis kicking, hands swollen, blah blah you know

the drill - UGH.

Anyways, here in NY they have instituted a LAW that says all health care workers

must have thed H1N1 shots. I work in a hosp. but not direct patient care.

I keep reading how:

A) You cannot sue the drug company, nor the state that insitutes the law, if

something happens to you based on this immunization (which raises my antenna 100

ft high),

B) Squalene and the adjuvants in the vaccine (albeit small amounts) can cause

Epstein Barr Syndrome, and exascerbate auto-immune diseases

C) Enbrel and/or TNF Biologics and the H1N1 virus dont mix and its

contraindicated

D) I believe the Swine Flu fear is unwarranted if you take your Vitamins D, Fish

Oils, wash your hands scrupulously, take normal precautions during flu season

and eat well.

Here they say they can fire us if we refuse. I REFUSE and may be a test case.

I dont trust this vaccine (h1N1). My daughter had swine flu, she said she felt

awful for a week (fever, body aches, miserable) but not worse than the regular

flu.

Can anyone put up an article about the research done on Biologics and the H1N1.

I need it for ammo.

Not sure how my Rheumy will respond, but I want her to give me a letter saying

it is contraindicated with my RA.

Thanks

OKD
