Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who've been contributors, readers and friends of the World Arnold Chiari Malformation Association. Since 1996 we've been happy to provide a place where people can share their experiences with each other. Along the way there have been many dedicated volunteers, and I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Some of you have given hundreds and even thousands of hours of your life in order to help others through their chiari struggles.. and not a single one of you has ever asked for anything in return. Some of you have answered countless e-mails at 2 am, some of you have paid for many long-distance phone calls, some of you have provided spiritual support, medical advice, and even financial support to our " chiarian " brothers and sisters who were in need...and not a single one of you has ever asked for anything in return. Some of you have opened your homes to fellow chiarians who were about to have surgery or were in town for a consultation. Some of you have done all of the above. Some of you have sent a couple of e-mails or public messages and made someones day or even changed someones life or attitude..and not a single one of you has ever asked for anything in return. Personally, I never dreamed that WACMA would touch so many lives.. but I'm glad it has and I'm sure I speak for Bernie H. Meyer, Darlene Long, Kathleen Grigg and Chadborne when I say: Thank you, so very, very much. We appreciate you far more than we can say. (We're supposed to talk to each other before speaking for `The Association' ...and I didn't tonight.. but this time I feel quite confident that we're all on the same page I'm very fortunate to be among such a gathering of Angels. I've never done anything to earn the friendships that I have formed in the last 4 years here. My e-mail has been overflowing a bit lately, and I'm sorry that I haven't been able to respond to all of you. I'm working on a solution, and hope to be better equipped to handle the volume very soon. If I haven't responded to an important question, please feel free to send it again.
