Guest guest
hi my name is rachel, and im 30 yrs old.and i live in texas with my husband of 9 yrs and my 4 children.i never had a weight problem till my 4th baby was born.i gained alot of weight during pregnancy because i was suffering from anxiety attacks.and i have no idea why it started happening.but i was just scared of every thing and always thought that i was going to die.well they say it was pregnancy hormones that caused it.well every time i would feel an attack i would eat chocklate.lots of it.because i didnt want to take any naroctic or anti depressant to control it.because i was pregnant.anyway i had thease attacks all day long every day.so i was always eating choclat.well after my baby was born i breast fed and it kept alot of weight off.but when he was one i stopped breast feeding.well then the weight started coming back on.so last summer i lost a whole lot of weight.but i started working at the hospital doing 12 hour shifts and i was so sick from it.so i was snacking alot and eating really good meals.and i actually maintained weight and didnt gain, but i couldnt lose either.a month ago i had brain surgery.i have arnold chiari malformation.and had part of my skull removed and some vertebre removed and a patch sewn into my brain.becaue my hind brain was falling down into my spine.and there was bone there that was pinching the brain and causing tremendous pressure in my head.and my spine was herniating.well so all ive been doing is laying around and doing nothing and drinking soda.and my husband has been cooking and feeding me well lol.so i feel like i have put on alot more.i really just need the motivation to go out and walk.i cant do any big excercise because of my surgery.anyway i just thought i would share my history so you all can get to know me better and a little more about why im in the group.thanks for reading. Guest guest
Welcome to the group! I'm glad you're doing well from your surgery? Have you read any of the intuitive eating books? Right now would be a great time to do so while you're recovering from surgery! > > hi my name is rachel, and im 30 yrs old.and i live in texas with my > husband of 9 yrs and my 4 children.i never had a weight problem till > my 4th baby was born.i gained alot of weight during pregnancy because > i was suffering from anxiety attacks.and i have no idea why it > started happening.but i was just scared of every thing and always > thought that i was going to die.well they say it was pregnancy > hormones that caused it.well every time i would feel an attack i > would eat chocklate.lots of it.because i didnt want to take any > naroctic or anti depressant to control it.because i was > pregnant.anyway i had thease attacks all day long every day.so i was > always eating choclat.well after my baby was born i breast fed and it > kept alot of weight off.but when he was one i stopped breast > feeding.well then the weight started coming back on.so last summer i > lost a whole lot of weight.but i started working at the hospital > doing 12 hour shifts and i was so sick from it.so i was snacking alot > and eating really good meals.and i actually maintained weight and > didnt gain, but i couldnt lose either.a month ago i had brain > surgery.i have arnold chiari malformation.and had part of my skull > removed and some vertebre removed and a patch sewn into my > brain.becaue my hind brain was falling down into my spine.and there > was bone there that was pinching the brain and causing tremendous > pressure in my head.and my spine was herniating.well so all ive been > doing is laying around and doing nothing and drinking soda.and my > husband has been cooking and feeding me well lol.so i feel like i > have put on alot more.i really just need the motivation to go out and > walk.i cant do any big excercise because of my surgery.anyway i just > thought i would share my history so you all can get to know me better > and a little more about why im in the group.thanks for reading. >
