That is great, Christy! I think it is all of the little steps like these that really add up to make for big changes in how we think. The diet mentality is so hard to reject but with steps like these, we can do it!

My Blog

Two things for today that I'm really excited about:1) I bought donuts for work today (I'm an office manager), andactually ate one. I was nervous about it, but was just honest withmyself and said, well, I'm hungry and I'm going to have one and that's

it. And it's funny because there are three left over now, and I don'thave any desire to eat another one just " because they're there. " So Iallowed myself to eat one and forget about it, which never happens!

2) I exercised today...I didn't want to do my usual routine of joggingand lifting weights (small hand ones); instead, I danced around for 20minutes (even worked up a bit of a sweat!). Before, my black/white

thinking would say what I did wasn't good enough, but hey -- it'sexercise and movement...and I stopped judging myself! -- ~c~
