Guest guest Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 Two things for today that I'm really excited about: 1) I bought donuts for work today (I'm an office manager), and actually ate one. I was nervous about it, but was just honest with myself and said, well, I'm hungry and I'm going to have one and that's it. And it's funny because there are three left over now, and I don't have any desire to eat another one just " because they're there. " So I allowed myself to eat one and forget about it, which never happens! 2) I exercised today...I didn't want to do my usual routine of jogging and lifting weights (small hand ones); instead, I danced around for 20 minutes (even worked up a bit of a sweat!). Before, my black/white thinking would say what I did wasn't good enough, but hey -- it's exercise and movement...and I stopped judging myself!
