Guest guest
My child, Clayton (3yr.) has had 2 decompression surgeries in the past 4 months. First from the back of head, second from the front through the mouth. After the 2nd decompression he has not been able to stand or sit-up for a very long extended period of time. This makes it impossible for him to go anywhere or even ride in a car seat. I am desperate for answers. He had a MRI last Thursday to look for leakage of spinal fluid, but there was none. (They looked for this because in his 2nd surgery the lining to the spine was punctured by a bone and they had to put a patch and tube into the spinal area to stop the spinal fluid leakage.) Now the Nero Surgeon is going to talk with the Orthopedic Surgeon on Tuesday and get back with us. I do not know what they are looking for and wonder if anyone might have a clue. Please contact me if anyone else has had a similar experience. (mstacy@...) Thank you.
