Guest guest
Hi all, Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth here. I have had nothing but pain and problems with my teeth and jaw for so long I can't remember what's it's like not to hurt. Having state medical insurance hasn't helped either as there is no dentist anywhere near me that will take adult patients with it. So what I was told was to either pay for the work myself (yeah right) or get my teeth pulled. So 3 weeks ago I had all my molars pulled. I am so glad I did it. Now it will be a few weeks before I get my new teeth but I would do it all over again. NO more dentists, fillings, root canals or caps at least in the back of my mouth. I think having them gone has helped my headaches and pain level go down a little and I'm sure once I get my new teeth it will be even better. I know that my jaw is very out of whack and surgery on upper and lower would help but at this point in my life I will just learn to live with it. I'm not saying get all your teeth pulled but they sure can cause alot of trouble with people like us. Kathi/Pt Orchard WA ACM 1 - 15mm, SM T3-11, C4-7 Fused. Guest guest
Hi All, This is amazing. I never put the problems with my jaw and teeth and sinusus together with the Chiari. Now I'm wondering if they are connected. There seems to be alot of us out there that have problems in this area. I have had problems for years, way before I knew I had the Chiari problem. My dentist told me when I was in my twenties that the pain I had was from clenching my mouth at night, so I wear a night guard that helps me alot. Even so, the pain in my jaws is awful sometimes and if I happen to have a Chiari headache at the same time with those wonderful stabbing eye pains--- well lets just say that on days like that I just sit and sit some more! Thanks for posting. Who knows with time and money what doctors will find about our illness. I think we know more than they do just from communicating with eachother. Also, just a quick thanks for any information you all share on the conference. Hope to go next year!
