Hi everyone :)

My name is Jen. I just found this group and hope it will help me to

stick to this. I've read a couple of the posts and it seems that

others are struggling with the same issues that I do.

I read the Intuitive Eating book several years ago. But, maybe I

just wasn't ready to trust myself. I just turned 30 and looking back

I've realized I've been dieting on and off for about 20 years. I

want to move forward in my life and put all that energy to good use.

I've been keeping a log of what I eat and how hungry or full I feel

to try and learn to recognize hunger and fullness signals. I do okay

for a couple days, but then as soon as I feel like I've overeaten, I

run back to counting calories.

This is really a struggle that I want to end. I hope that being able

to talk with other people who struggle with this will help me to

finally do it.
