Hi, new to posting, but have been reading for a while....

HI, my name is . I have been a member of this group for a

while, but have actually had it turned to no email for quite a bit of

the time. I have only recently turned it back to digest mode, and have

been voraciously reading everyones posts till then.

I was wondering if anyone has a similar " trigger " to overeating that I

have? For some reason when I am around other people, I have a

tendency to judge how much I am eating by how much other people are

eating. As in, if I am eating with my husband, I have a tendency to

try to eat as much as he is eating. And if we are watching TV, if he

or my kids are snacking, I will too, even if I am not hungry.

Any ideas on how to overcome this?

I just ordered the book, along with a couple of other book on the the

subject, and am looking forward to reading it, as well as I am looking

forward to further interaction with all you wonderful people on this

group!
