Guest guest
Hi everybody, Just checking in, to say I had lost contact with IE for a couple months. I am 3 months pregnant and food is a big issue. I do IE in a way, because I have so much food aversions that I don`t feel like eating a lot of things including all meats, all fish and all cooked veggies. I basically survive on salads, fruits, pasta, bland stuff, bread and cheese. I drink tons of Gingerale which used to be a big taboo food for me, because it is the only thing that remove my nausea. Things however are getting a little better, I actually feel like eating beef and chicken lately. So far everything is o.k. with the pregnancy, I am nervous as hell because I had two previous miscarriages and this is a high risk pregnancy due to my age (43). I have a tendancy to eat too much when I am anxious and I am trying to keep in touch with my hunger, which is hard for me right now. So I am posting and reading again, in search of inspiration. I gained a very reasonable amount of weight so far (I have to deal with the ob-gyn weight in -grrrr...) but I am so terrified because I started this pregnancy overweight and I can`t imagine myself with 30 more pounds on my body...I caught myself thinking of all kinds of crazy diets that I could do after pregnancy but then I think why making myself miserable, I will just do IE and feel o.k. and happy insteand no matter the weight. Thanks for listening. Nat
Guest guest
Hi Nat and so glad to hear from you again. Its good news that your body is settling down with your pregnancy. It must have been horrible to not feel well and limited in what you could eat. Great to have you back here and keep us posted on how you are doing.
