Guest guest
The city of Pembroke Pines has a sports program for special population. Call Palacios at . There is also the Miracle League for baseball. I don't have his number offhand, but can give you that as well. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain. Guest guest
The city of Parkland in West Broward has a fabulous Soccer Buddy program for all levels of abilities. We started our son last year when he was five-years-old and it was simply a wonderful experience. His buddy was completely devoted to the program and never missed a Saturday with him. They also started a flag football buddy program this year. http://www.parklandsoccer.net/soccer_buddies http://www.parklandflag.com/Football_Buddy.htm Sports i have a 5 year old son and i really want to start him on some sort of sport program, like baseball, basketball, etc. I was wondering if anyone knew of any places that offered sports for autistic kids.ThanksPaola
Guest guest
Contact CARD at DMC. Carol Nigro has tons of info. You can also look on www.broward.org and look under special populations. The City of Plantation has some great groups as well. I hope that helps!! > > i have a 5 year old son and i really want to start him on some sort of > sport program, like baseball, basketball, etc. I was wondering if > anyone knew of any places that offered sports for autistic kids. > > Thanks > Paola >
Guest guest
Weston has a very good baseball program (Challenger League, Babe Ruth League both for special needs boys and girls of all ages). Plantation also has a special needs program through PAL (Plantation Athletic League)
