Guest guest
My three-year-old nephew passed away in April. He suffered from autism. Somehow, he got out of the house and drowned in a nearby water retention pond. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children in Florida. It is also the leading cause of death for children with autism. My sister-in-law has been working feverishly since my nephew's passing to make sure that similar tragedies do not strike other families living with children with autism. She has started Connections, in my nephew's name. Connections is a Foundation which can assist families in finding affordable/discounted, and accessible swimming lessons for their children with special needs. All lessons to which family's will be linked are taught by qualified instructors. If you are interested, contact Deanna at:
Guest guest
I am so sorry for your loss. It is wonderful to see that your family is helping other families avoid experiencing the same tragedy. laurenevadingerror wrote: My three-year-old nephew passed away in April.
