Guest guest
I am so confused by my own body right now! You might remember that I had a positive home pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago - then I had a negative blood test - then last week I had another lightly positive HPT - then 2 nights ago I went to bed early feelingabsolutely terrible - and woke up about 3AM covered in blood. I have been having occasional gushes ever since along with TERRIBLE cramps. No clots that I have noticed - but the blood changes from bright red to brown to almost purple in color. These cramps are really bad especially considering I can not take any antiimflammatory drugs. I just broke down and took some of my leftover pain meds from my surgery and that is helping a little. I don't know if I should just wait it out or call my doc. I asked a nurse about the conflicting tests and she said " the blood test is conclusive " - I realize it is more reliable than an hpt - but why do I keep getting light positives??? I don't think if I am pregnant that it is a viable pregnancy - not with all of this bleeding - but I don't want my doctor to think I am overreacting. If I am miscarrying, can any harm come to me if I don't see a doctor. SHould I just wait and follow up with a doc when the bleeding stops? I am sorry to bombard you guys - but I figured you might be more in tune with your bodies than other post-ops! I have to say that this little pregnancy scare has actually made me look forward to having my next baby, and although I want to wait 'till the Spring to get pregnant - I am glad I found this list. It is very comforting to listen to your experiences! Thanks for listening to mine! - Tara Lynn __________________________________________________
Guest guest
CALL THE DR. If he thinks you are overreacting find a new one. Alot of blood could indicate a problem and he should make the decision about whether or not he sees you. it's his job. That's why he gets the big bucks. Lenore f this bleeding - but I >don't want my doctor to think I am overreacting. If I >am miscarrying, can any harm come to me if I don't see >a doctor.
