You can check this site. They have an on line program. (check for unusual spacing when cut and pasting the address - sometimes when I e-mail them they get spaces.)http://www.thechicagoschool.edu/content.cfm/aba_certificates--- Subject: ABA certificationTo: sList Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 10:45 AM

Does anyone knows where can i get the ABA certification before the end

of the year. Maybe a tutorial program.

Thanks

Several universities offer classes in Applied Behavior Analysis. Nova and Florida Institute of Technology provides classes that upon completion, along with supervision hours, one can take the exam. Three classes (and supervision hours) are required to take the Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst exam and five (an additional two-after completing the first three and additional supervision hours) are required to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam. FIT offers good (and cheap) online classes that cost about $750-$790 depending upon early/late registration.

Without the above, one can not become certified in Applied Behavior Analysis. One can be trained, but not certified until the classes, supervision hours and tests are complete.

For more information, go to www.bacb.com/pages/bcba_stand.html and/or www.bacb.com/

for the standards. And, to begin the classes, one needs to already have a Masters degree.

There are 2 levels of certification. For one you need a Bachelors in a

related field and for the other a masters degree in a related field.

The number of supervision hours is higher for the graduate level

supervision and you have to fined a person already certified to

supervise you....

To obtain your BCABA (Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst) you don't need

a Master's,

you need a Bachelor's Degree. You need a Master's for your BCBA. The BACB.com

website is

the best place to find all your answer.

Also, I don't think you would be able to finish all the requirements and get

certified before

the end of the year. The BACB only offers certification exams three times per

year.

Good Luck!
