******* oh good! At least he's got the info, so that's good!

Let me run this by my friend the doc. IF they only went 6 ft past the LoT,

then it might not be that far. That appears to be what is bypassed, not

what's left.

How much protein supp do you take? I mean, liquids, not bars or foods.

The surgery report reads " the small bowel was traced down to

Hi everyone.

My name is Kathy.

I learned about Intuitive Eating via a Weight Watchers message board. I have lost 75 pounds in the last year and a half. When I recently found myself feeling the same fears and anxieties about food, (eating when I am not hungry and gaining weight back,) I knew something was still not right within me. I long to have a healthy relationship with food. And although I have released a great deal of weight, and I feel so proud of my accomplishment, I want to be free from the fears I have regarding food. My doctor told me yesterday that I will always need to think about food, and I appreciate that, because I don't want to think I will be the "exception to the rule" (the girl who was over weight and is now thin and can eat whatever she wants, whenever she wants, take or leave exercise and never be overweight again.) And yet, I want to know I CAN eat whatever I

want, whenever I am hungry....and not fear loss of control.

What I appreciate most about IE is that is helps awaken my awareness to the moment. I ask myself, "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? Are you still hungry? How does the food taste?"

I am hoping for change. I am in the process of change. I am encouraged and I appreciate the support from others like you who share in these issues.

Kathy
