I know what you mean regarding the time it takes to put a DVD together. I am trying to put one together for my exchange student before she departs in late June. Just getting over the learning curve alone is tuff. But at least I don't have to convey a story line, just that want her to remember all the things she has accomplished this year. I think it is so great that your office has such a big heart. I feel the same way, as many of us on this site do. We try and spread the word to everyone possible. In fact my daughter graduated to a new level as a volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium last night and I had an opportunity to briefly speak to Packard (her father was Mr. Packard from Hewlett-Packard, HP Computers). All I could think of is that I want to tell her about LDN so she could use her pull at Stanford Hospital. But in the end I said nothing as I thought it would be inappropriate to say "hello I am Nikki's mother, by the way have you heard about LDN" In the end I should have told her that "I think your ink cartridges are far too expensive". Oh well, missed both chances. Kindest of regardsAletha Re: Re: [low dose naltrexone] studies & the dvdAltheaI'm doing this anyway-- I have no expectation except to finish it and make it available and then finish my documentary (of which I have no patient volunteers at this time--cough cough) (I should have a video contest) and put it out there--i just feel guilty for charging for it because i know many you guys are on disability and don't have much money. ---so I'm trying to figure what is fair and also let Dr Skip know because he feels the same way I do. I think if we could afford it he would just give you LDN.I'm working on this other dvd (its a nightmare) for a community animal blood bank- they asked me to do somethng very simple and it turned out to be the video from hell- they asked me to create a video so they could show people how to infuse and deal with this dog blood. They aea non-profit animal blood bank so i talked skip into sponsoring the production. adam and I put hours-about 300 hours so far and we are almost done- but these people think they are going to sell it and I keep on telling them forget it -no one will buy so you need to find someone to pay to distribute it - so we were at this vet meeting in baltimore last year and we went to the people who make all the stuff you need to do this and they were all happy to write checks.this is the way it works in -you know- the medicalwork-you get grants from drug companies.but then I know for sure I would asked to compromise my information and I won't do that. so it needs to be people -powered. andin the end thats the best way .cyndi
