Guest guest
Finally got through to him about dinners/meals. He takes meals seriously and thinks they should be balanced with meat, vegetable and a starch. I'm all for that but what he didn't understand until last night was that sometimes I'm not hungry when he's hungry for dinner, sometimes I just want popcorn for dinner. We finally worked it out that if I say I'm not hungry go ahead without me, he will - finally. I ate dinner with him last night when I was not hungry, I over ate, I did not feel good at all. At least we were able to work through it and have now come up with a solution. I much prefer to eat when hungry and stop when full. I just don't enjoy my food and I don't enjoy the way I feel after - I want to feel good that's what it's all about for me. He understands and appreciates my IE journey - he's pretty happy to have a fun food cupboard and go to it and have things still there, he's also enjoying not having to hide food anymore or the fact that no food is off limit now as he knows how many times I wanted something else to eat and had what I thought I should and did not enjoy it. Thanks, J.
