My son likes the electrolyte drink much better as ice chips when he's

sick. I freeze the liquid in ice trays, then put the electrolyte ice

in a plastic bag and pound it with a mallet. He'll eat bowls full of

it when he's feeling too bad to eat or drink anything else. He likes

it with a splash of orange juice or lime added to the original mixture.

Wikopedia says:

Honey should not be heated above 40°С (104°F) lest to become toxic

Not so sure about this -- because if that were the case, we shouldn't

cook with it or make candy.

Well, except several of Elaine's recipes call for it to be much

higher than that, as does several SCD cookbooks.

You can't make candy from honey if you only heat it to

104. So, on SCD, this is clearly not observed.
