Guest guest
We have been going to Quest in Dearfield Beach. The best part about any quest lab is that they let you set an appt time. And you are taken right in.....at least with in 5 mins of checkin in. The girls at the one id Deerfield are used to us now. In fact one of the girls was sitting doing the check in and there was a new person doing the draws and she got up and came and did My sons Draw without me even asking. I felt that was great because my son knows her. Lab Corp is a first come first serve basis and even when you get there first it is 30mins after they open before they get to you and they never seemed orginized. Hope that helps Dawn www.shoppingcartblankie.com Subject: Blood DrawsTo: sList Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 3:42 PM Saw Dr. Berger this week. He was awesome. But, need to get some blood tests done. Can anyone suggest a place for this? My son is twenty months, very tiny and very sensitive. I don't want this to be too horrible for him. Is there anyone out there who performs blood draws on ASD children? Thanks!

Guest guest
This is definitely not the case for the Labcorp facility, in S. Broward. Do not recall exact address but it is at an "outpatient facility" of Memorial Hospital, on Hallandale Beach Blvd.(closer to AIA)(At the strip mall located at the entrance of Golden Isles. The facility opens at 7:15 and the lab technician arrives at 7:30. I take all 3 of my children there(more than 3 years already). The lab technician is more than fabulous and has butteflies, readily available. 2 of my children have practically invisible veins and she finds them(You cannot imagine what I went through, at Quest, at "", a few years ago, when the technician could not find my youngest son's vein and she was going in and out with the needle! I could not show any emotion in order not to scare my son) With a Labcorp requsition, you enter the facility and go straight back to the lab. If you do not have labcorp requsition, the front desk clerks are so nice! They check you in and process you, through "Memorial", and then you go to the back... **I have always arrived at 7:15 and have never had more than 10 minutes wait, after the lab technician arrives(i.e. sometimes some others with labcorp requisitions come in while I am being processed for non-labcorp blood tests so they go straight back.)*** I cannot vouch for the wait mid-am or afternoon. Guest guest
I used to be a patient of Dr. Berger's and I know of a couple that lives here in Broward that love and swear by him. They are OLD patients of his and they have an arrangement where his EX nurse (I think that's who it is) comes to their home and draws the blood. They are thrilled with that arrangement. Maybe speak to Berger or one of his girls in the office about this. I have nooooo idea what the cost is but it's worth asking. Good luck. > > Saw Dr. Berger this week. He was awesome.
