Guest guest
Hi Dina, My surgery elliviated only my " cough " headaches, Most everything else stayed with me. I also have SM, which could probably be the culprit. But was nice to just get rid of that form of headache Donna
Guest guest
Donna and Dina--I think I've read onlist that most feel the longer you have a neurologic symptom the less likely you are to regain post op resolution. Pain relief sure but remember, unlike other body systems, the nuerological system doesn't regenerate post insult. I am going with my shunt as long as possible. I lived this way for 58 years--it's all about lifestyle and compromise/convertibility for me at this point. 50:50 ain't enuff for this ol' gal. Guess my quality expectation has tapered off some over so many years. Just my opinion, for me. Marcia I wish you good luck Dina. aka Me2,ACM1,V/P shunt not decompressed-- ;0) A wink and a smile, can last quite a while _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
