Guest guest
Enjoy Life makes cookies. The snickerdoodle flavor is so good that my son's friends (on normal diets) all love them too! Guest guest
There are a lot of things out there now. They're pricey, though. Amy's makes a pretty darn good GFCF pizza -- in the freezer section (but I believe the cheese may be soy, so if kids have trouble with that, I don't know). And you could make cupcakes or brownies. Namaste (look for the brown bags in the cake mix aisle) makes great mixes -- their brownies are especially yummy. And there are even mixes for vanilla and chocolate frostings available, though I haven't tried those myself yet, so I can't attest to their flavor or consistency. Perhaps some others on this board can offer more on them. Good luck! The kids will love it! :-) vodoohobbit wrote: Hello,My son has a party at school tom for the end of year and i just foundout that some kids in his class can not have cake and ice cream due totheir GFCF diet. Guest guest
This is too late for your party, but Whole Foods has their own line of products called Gluten Free Bakehouse. They have everything from bread to muffins and poundcakes, etc. and they taste very good. Another company is Pamela's Products. They have great cookies. My kids also love anything from Kinnikinnick Foods and Enjoy Life! Unfortunately, I still have not found a good alternative to traditional pizza that my kids actually enjoy. Whole Foods is also very helpful in terms of pointing you in the right direction. Just go to Customer Service and tell them what you're looking for. Hope this helps in the future. > > Hello, > > My son has a party at school tom for the end of year and i just found > out that some kids in his class can not have cake and ice cream due to > their GFCF diet. Guest guest
There are some delicious cookies available at whole foods in chocolate chip, sncikerdoodle, double chocolate flavors which come in blue and yellow boxes which are great! The company that makes them is Enjoy Life! By the way, I think it is great that you have taken the time to plan for children with restrictions on their diet, from a mother whose child is occassianly left out at parties because they are not part of his diet! Guest guest
These might work for you: The cake recipe is from a baker at Publix Greenwise Mkt. He says it is very good. I haven't tried it yet. The snack mix comes from a card I picked up at Whole Foods Mkt.
