Guest guest
Hi, I just bought IE this week and needless to say am very new to it. I've almost finished reading the whole thing, and agree whole-heartedly with the principles and views of the authors. My only issue is that there is no " plan of action " of how to implement these principles. Should I try incorporating many at once, or work on one at a time? Also if it's the latter, should i go in the order of the principles or what? I apologize for my naiveness, and would much appreciate any input. Have a fabulous weekend! Guest guest
Hi and welcome Your question is a very usual one, and one that seems to bother anyone who is used to being 'instructed' in how to proceed. IE is all about NO 'rules' because paying attention to EXternal inputs distracts away from you (re) learning your own INternal limit-er - your own (body) hunger and satisfaction signals. That said, how do you get IE working for you? Someone likened it to learning to drive a car - you have to know the 'theory' and then do some practicing. You won't be very good at it at first, but as you get a feel of the gas pedal, brake and steering wheel, you will manage to point the car in the right direction and go 'forward'. You can try and do 'all' of the suggestions at one time, or you can do one or a few as you feel comfortable with those. I found that taking on ONE practice at a time helped me to get to where I was able to do it and I'd then feel I could tackle another. Allow yourself TIME too. Keep asking questions and also just do what you feel like and can accept. Bring your whines and brags here too - Best to you - Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > Hi, I just bought IE this week and needless to say am very new to it. > I've almost finished reading the whole thing, and agree > whole-heartedly with the principles and views of the authors.
