We miss you too Aeleen! I should only be so lucky to find a

therapist like you in this area. I will definitely remain connected with you

and keep you posted on Ella’s progress (any maybe call for some assistance as well

J)!

Always,

Hi

All,

We

have finally settled into our new home in Royal Palm Beach. Still much

to do but at least at a place where I can turn my focus back to my daughter’s

upcoming school year needs. I need to reestablish her in behavioral,

speech, and OT therapy. I was wondering if anyone can suggest

therapists that are local to the Crestwood area and that take insurance/are

affordable. We were previously with a scholarship at Easter Seals for

OT and Speech and had a reduced rate for behavioral. Also, my daughter

was in a reduced rate gymnastics program specific for special needs kids and

free horseback riding. Our old area – Plantation was rich with

resources and I hated to leave there. Hoping we can find some similar

resources here in our new home town. Any help would be much

appreciated.

Thanks

in advance!

Thanks Carol. I actually have connected with Randee from

Arc (before we moved). Just didn’t think about her before I wrote the

e-mail. Thanks for the reminder. J

Hi ,

Maybe you could try contacting one of

the FAU CARD offices as they should have a referral list for your area.

In Boca, the phone number is . In Port St. Lucie, the phone number

is .

Also, you may want to try to contact ARC

of Palm Beach County for additional resources. They have a program called

Family to Family that links families new to the area with an experienced parent

that can assist in finding service providers. Their website is:

http://www.arcpbc.com/services/index.php

Hope this is helpful!
