Guest guest
Sue, wow - can I ask - what does all of this look like in real life? That sure is worded badly - what I mean is - what does all this mean in terms of - how many pills, how big are they , how " much " other stuff? Volume wise? I find it so hard to get down all the pills I take in a day AND manage to throw in some food occasionally, but it " sounds " like you take more (size wise) than I even would have space available for over the course of one day without food - but I'm thinking maybe it doesn't " boil down " to so much in reality. I'm not going to say what I take ( I am in enough trouble with already - she seems to disapprove of my new calcium treatment <g> - sorry private joke - but I couldn't resist ) but I really wonder what yours would be like in comparison (I take Tylenol, synthroid and used to take centrum forte - these seem like standard " pill " sizes I could relate to - when trying to " describe the size " of the different things) Thanks Very curious Tracey

That sure is worded badly - what I mean is - what does all this mean in terms of - how many pills, how big are they , how " much " other stuff? Volume wise? >>>>> I am a creature of habit, I like structure and routine so for me this is easy. I have like 14 bottles of vitamins and each morning I simply pair them up - the B's with the magnesium, the C with the iron, etc. etc. and drop those pills into a pill container that has 4 compartments. I carry that container with me and plop it on my desk and hopefully notice it 2-3 times during the day. none of the pills are big - a capsule like a tylenol is as big as the dry E is and it's the biggest. most of the time I am taking just 3 pills, one time 5. [it is more right now as I am doubling some doses to prepare for my T.T.] and up until about April I didn't take a lot of the single supplements - I had emergency surgery in Feb. and couldn't seem to regain energy even after 8 weeks so that was when I added the zinc, biotin, B's, magnesium, etc. before that I was taking a multi, lots of calcium, milk thistle and synthroid. once I added the vitamins it made a huge difference in recovery and overall health and I wouldn't stop it for anything now. I usually take the pills after I eat - mornings I have a protein drink and then take my iron and C and B12. later I have a piece of fruit and take my B's and magnesium and Biotin. after lunch I start on the calcium, A, D, boron and ipriflavone. after dinner I do more calcium and boron. after my night time protein drink I do the multi, zinc and E. it's just a pattern now, but it made such a big difference overall. my job is very stressful, dealing with the administration of a 550,000$ non-profit, supervising 20 staff and dealing with clients who are constantly in crisis. the worst is when a client is killed by her abuser and all the other clients and staff are affected. this happens every couple of months - our program has had 9 deaths in just two years. anyhow, I need those vitamins in a big way to keep functioning. not to mention I have two teenagers and all the other household things we all deal with. I guess it's a matter of priority and responsibility whether you take your vitamins or not - the more stressed out and crappy you feel the harder it is to take them though. sue
