Guest guest
My husband is gone for five days. Left on Monday morning and will return Friday evening. I noticed a considerable change in eating behavior and food choice. I still eat more than I need to but I eat less (ok, this might be a coincidence but I don't think so). The most considerable change though is that I shopped for some rather expensive foods, e. g. honey roasted macadamias and sushi. I love those but don't get to eat them regularly because they're so expensive. They're special and I use them as " treats " or should I rather say " reward " ? This angers me as I don't want to use food as a reward but this behavios seems to be that omnipresent that it's almost impossible to avoid. I tried to make a sushi substitute (as I don't have all the ingredients) tonight. I hope they'll turn out fine. If so I can have one of my favorite foods without having to drive an hour to get all ingredients for " the real stuff " or having to spend a fortune for the ready made ones. I always have a bad conscience spending so much money on special foods. I also have some very nasty thoughts about my hubby's eating behavior these days, especially when thinking about his moos lowering considerably after paying the grocery bill last Saturday. It makes me want to spit out some nasty thoughts. :-/ Regards s.
