Guest guest
The Tears Begin By Nangle Nicknamed 'The Tears' by many, what we are really talking about is spending caps on your services, mandated by the Florida legislator. The Tears/Tiers will now begin. All people who receive services with the Agency for Persons With Disabilities will be receiving a letter with their Tier assignment very soon. The Agency for Persons With Disabilities will be assigning your 'likely tier' before even speaking with you or your support coordinator. The Agency For Persons With Disabilities has put together 'Talking Points on Tier Waivers'. Tier 1- No Cap Tier 2- $55,000 Tier 3- $35,000 Tier 4- $14,792 Tier 4 is really the same thing as the current FSL Waiver. So, not only will you be limited in spending- but also in what services you can have. Dental Services is NOT on Tier 4. If your current provider does not take the FSL waiver, they will not get paid for providing service to you until they get approval. Some providers have refused to sign up for the FSL waiver, for various reasons. : Get more from your digital life. Find out how.
