what are my options if I didn't like PLACE program in Coconut Creek

We recently moved to Broward County and my 3 yr. old daughter was

going to start the PLACE program in Coconut Creek Winston Park Elem.

we went last week to the meet and greet ans walked out in tears. I

told myhusband that there would be noway I would put our daughter

into that class not the actual program but that class. Here are some

of the reasons youngest child, one of only 2 girls and not to

mention that when I asked the teacher what the curiculum would be

like she stated they would be learning colors, shapes, abc's and #'s

1-5. This is something my daughter mastered over a year ago through

extensive therapy she can count to 30 forward and backwards knows

all her ABC's in upper and lower case, knows all her and colors etc.

They also wanted me to bring in treats gummies etc. as a reward

system. We don't need those type of things for her. I just felt like

this particular class wa not the right match for her. Now I don't

know what to do. Are there other schools in my area that I can look

into before I put her in? What are we supposed to do when we don't

thikn that the placement for our child is the proper one? I think

that the PLACE program would be great for her however not this

particular class @ this particular school. Please help. I want to

know what our options are.
