Guest guest
Good Day All: I was reading through these emails, and you know, I have in the past, done needlepoint, I started it in 1993 for my son terry, to be born in 1994, it was a blanket, sheet and pillow case for babies. It had beautiful unicorns and rainbows ETC........well, my daughter dani who was born in 1997 was the one who actually was around for the FINISHING of it <GRIN> took alot longer then I expected!!! LOL Now, I have found a way to get lost for my pain also, and it to could be considered therapy for hands and neck. I do paint by numbers. I go to a store out by me called the Hobby Lobby. They are the ONLY place to buy BIG painting size ones. I had to work up to that gradually though....I started with the ones from Osco, Walgreen's toys r us. Where you get 2 smaller ones. Now I am working on a 20 " X 16 " full portrait of wolves (my fav) It isn't easy, on this one you have to actually mix paints for colors, but I can get lost for alittle while. And with these types, if you do have occasional tremors, like me, it doesn't make that big of difference, my hand s shake, but when the paintings are done they look great. (At least that's what the hubby says) When I am finished with this one, (been working on it almost a month) I will take pic with digital camera, send it to Chip <GRIN>, and see if he can put it on the site for everyone to see.......either that, or I'll just email it to all one by one!!!!! Talk about tedious!!!!!
