Guest guest
Hi Guys, Things have been crazy around here lately. 's problems are still coming and going. Thank goodness some reoccurrences of her former problems are still only temporarily present. She is still having bad headaches and fatigue and muscle weakness as her main problems. She has another chiari ear infection and she has had a number of pimples {looks like MRSA pimples} to come up on her incision line. We have kept them clean and disinfected and they have gone away for right now. We were terrified that the staph was coming back but ...... we still have our fingers crossed. As for me, I finally went to my gp to see what to do about the Rezulin and Propulsid I was taking and I opened Pandora's box. Not only did he take me off of both meds but he immediately set up appts for me to see my gastroentoligist {who set up an ultra sound of my liver & pancreas - showed fatty deposits in liver - ????}, and my pulmonary dr {new sleep study ordered - definitely have to increase my C-pap setting a lot more}, and an orthopedist for my very painful right leg {no pulse in foot or lower half of leg, very poor circulation, etc because of severe diabetes, main vein in rt leg removed from ankle to 6 or 7 " above knee during heart triple bi-pass surgery in 97, as well as arthiritis in knee joint and behind knee cap - same in left leg but not as severe, along with massive swelling in feet and legs}. Ortho wants me on a walker but I told him I wasn't ready for that yet ..... but I did agree to use a cane and that is taking a lot of getting use to. I can now identify and sympathise with those of you that have problems maneuvering around. They also drew enough blood to fatten up several vampires. Most of it was okay ..... blood sugar still to high {around 200}. I dced 2 meds and added 5. That now makes 12 rx meds a day plus my c-pap machine at night. No wonder I'm gaining weight ...... I'm getting fluffier off all those pills. Let me explain why 12 rxs ..... See you guys aren't the only ones with lots of problems and pills to take. Sometimes I actually think I rattle. I am a very severe diabetic {2 types of insulin & 2 types of pills along with ? diet} with a bad reflux, poor circulation, swelling, and arthritis in both legs, sleep apnea, and a yucky little heart, and........................................ . But you know what I am glad to be able to take all those nasty tasting pills and painful shots because that means I'm still here and I can still kiss and hug my wonderful grandbaby, my Allie Boop. Love and hugs to all and may your day be filled with much happiness and be totally pain free. TippyToes { in SC's Mom} Sorry, I didn't mean to whine but sometime we all need to.
