Guest guest
Nina,Testing didn't work for me and my sensitivities change, leave and return. When the immune system senses danger, it will react to even friendly substances. I have to observe restrictions on foods that are cross-reactive with my Latex allergy. This affects a small percentage of people. Elaine felt that as healing took place sensitivities would diminish and she was rather intolerant when asked about allergies and said it was like hunting a needle in a haystack.Hi Everyone,I'm following SCD and suspecting more and more that I have some hidden food allergies which are interfering with my healing. My doctor has suggested food allergy testing (via skin prick), and I'm wondering if anyone here has had success using this method to uncover hidden food allergies. I understand that it's fairly controversial, and some folks believe that you cannot get an accurate read on intolerance/allergy this way. That's partly what prompts me to write - I'm very interested in others' experiences.
