Guest guest
I have found myself being so hungry lately! I don't understand why. As I check in with myself throughout the day, I find that I can usually eat something. And I do. I still try to stop when I am satisfied. A few times I was in bed at night feeling very uncomfortable, which makes me want to be very cautious about the late night eating, even if I am hungry. I feel like I am not reading my signals well... Any advice? Anybody else feel the same way? Someone said it's because it's "hibernation" time and the body naturally wants to eat more...?? Guest guest
Hi Kathy, My IE experience has been that for some periods of time I eat less and for some periods of time I eat more. But most of the time I feel the same level of comfort in my body regardless of how much I'm eating, so long as I'm following my body signals. Now I try not to worry about the " more " periods because I know from past experience that it has nor done me any harm. Arnie > > I have found myself being so hungry lately! I don't understand why. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, When this happens to me, I try to remind myself, " if i feel like i need to eat, this must be because i am burning extra calories for some reason, and my metabolism needs more fuel. " this makes me feel better, to know that if my body says it needs it, it NEEDS it, so it should not make me gain weight. hope this helps. i think it sounds very simple but it's a rather powerful thought, for me.
