Guest guest
Poor Noah!! I am frantically searching for a website I had months ago that listed specific treatment for impaction, it was an on going thing that took a lot of time. I have looked for 2 days and have not found it yet. This link helped me to understand the impaction recovery process and why it takes some time, I am sure there are specific issues to our kids in addition to the " normal " impactions. s dark circles came back as well with the backing up. Happy Pooping for Noah!! ******************************* & Larry in Missouri Janna 7-15-98 (failure to thrive) CF since 6-28-00 and GF since 7-16-00 Noelle 12-27-99 (nt) ******************************* " Families can be real supportive but to talk to someone who has truly walked in your own shoes makes all the difference. Guest guest
Brief history: Noah had x-ray July 21, loaded with poop. Treatment: Senokot for two days and MOM(Milk of Magnesia), three days later everything begins to hurt him in lower area, four days of enemas. Needless to say tons of diapers. Played around with MOM stopped it for a week had x-ray today, loaded again with poop!!! Called Noah's Doctor I was told to repeat treatment . OKEY here is what I need to know, 1) Those of you who can relate, what are you doing and who is telling you to do it. Is it a " regular " Dr. or a DAN Dr. 2) What may be causing this in our children. Noah never toe walks. Is it the diet. Is he not getting something or getting something he shouldn't!? Is this harmful (the blackeyes have reoccurred). 3) What are the tests that should be done., Yeast, food...? Noah's doctor had always done what I ask him to do. He is open to any idea. He is learning from what I present to him regarding autism. Because autism is still so primitive I wonder if we as parents need to do our own protocol on specific issues we all seem to share. I see this poop issue a lot on this site. Let me hear from you, maybe I am overlooking something. Thank you, Trina (Maine)
