This group has always served me as an excellent resource for support wether obtaining compounded LDN or Revia and self compounding using the so called liquid method. That there are many brands of naltrexone (generic, Revia, Naltima, Nodict, etc.) does not confuse the issue. There will be slight and possibly significant but not necessarily so variations in the fillers used, but in all, the active ingredient is naltrexone. Regarding Skip or his wife Cyndi, they add a very valuable perspective not to mention that Skip has a ton of experience with the drug. I am glad that they are here and that they have taken the initiative to make the conference widely available through recordings, videos, and soon a DVD. I hope that they see financial compensation sufficient to induce them to continue. Regarding liquid LDN, there have been mentioned some reasons people choose it even when they can get a prescription. For me, the reason is because I am a do-it-yourselfer. I like to build things myself, know how things work, and tinker with things. I consider my use of LDN part of my do-it-yourself health project. Having discovered the drug without the aid of my doctor, I was especially enticed by the idea that I could take greater responsibility for my health. For me, the liquid method is empowering. I hope everyone who can be helped by LDN finds out about it. For many, it will be a miracle and an answer to prayer.
Guest guest
, Are you the same who used to tell people about the liquid form on Goodshape's board? Marciedavizona2000 <davizona@...> wrote: Thx , and I agree with everything you said 100%. There IS great support here, I guess I was referring to a more 'knowledge and educated answers' type of support. I'm a lot like you, in that I like the idea of doing it or building it myself. I would have absolutely no problem getting or affording a script for LDN, but there's something about making it yourself that really appeals to me. Somebody mentioned something a while ago about pride as a reason. I dont think thats it, it's more of a 'take charge of your health' attitude, although the same attidude could be applied to ANYONE who ventures away from the mainstream and decides to use LDN, regardless of how they get it or use it. I'm just always looking for answers, Sir Real has provided some great and encouraging ones. I think we need ALL answers though, not just the ones that we want to hear. >> > My point is since so many people make their own> > LDN, I feel there should be some kind of support for these folks as> > well, they're(we're) still in the same MS group as everyone else.> > This group has always served me as an excellent resource for support wether > obtaining compounded LDN or Revia and self compounding using the so called > liquid method. Guest guest
Hi Dave, I would never ask anyone to candy-coated anything. In fact your questions are good questions. It just sounds like you ask a lot of Skip pinpointedly. He is running a business and has also been voluntarily helping others on his own time. Lets foster a good relationship and ask the questions that you need answers to in a very positive tense. It is all in the way you ask. You don't need to candy-coat anything just use common since and some forethought in asking your questions. I don't know how long you have been on the board, but we have always been very supportive of people finding ways to get LDN which includes purchasing it from other countries. In the welcome e-mail I state where to find the sites for getting Naltrexone and for preparing it. See below: Go to these sites to find out how to get LDN from Mexico without a prescription and how to prepare it. www.medsmex.com www.goodshape.net I have saved over 35 chats regarding purchasing LDN in this way and ways to help out with preparation and storage etc. I try and take the time to send them out privately to those that ask questions pertaining to these areas (when I have the time). Right now I have taken on a huge project for my family as my father has been diagnosed with lung and brain cancer and he has a business and household to keep up with. I also have my own business and that takes time too. I have not been as responsive as in the past or able to get to everyone's need on this chat site, but I want to and will continue to try. Please be patient with all of us as we all care about one another and do this from our hearts. No one is responsible to you, or is on your payroll, so just be caring and understanding and realize that this is all a wonderful volunteer effort. We are all here for everyone and no one is separating out a part of the group and not helping them. Please don't make it sound like that. It has never been that way at all. There is no conspiracy here. Guest guest
thanks. The Dvd is not about money-if so we would have actually charged more for it. Like I said before I've had people who wanted to buy it from us so they could distribute it but the price would have been so high it would have defeated the whole purpose which is for doctors to see men and woman in suits at NIH , which is the mothership for all of us in healthcare, talking about LDN. I have asked adam to put some stuff on the web for you guys to see from the conferancethey are herehttp://skipspharmacy.com/movie.phpyou must have quicktimeif you have windows you can get it or update it for freehttp://www.apple.com/quicktime/win.htmlthere is a interview with and also Skip discusses Fillers and also the part where he discusses why the calcium carbonate filler would not work which was an issue at the conference a year before. I think that that point is settled now we have one more we are putting up.cyndiOn Jul 5, 2006, at 1:12 PM, Kennard wrote:>Regarding Skip or his wife Cyndi, they add a very valuable perspective not to mention that Skip has a ton of experience with the drug. Guest guest
I haven't been on Goodshape's in a while, but I just remember that when LDN in capsule form didn't seem to be working for some, the liquid method worked so well for someone, and it would come up from time to time. Hey...whatever works!! Marciedavizona2000 <davizona@...> wrote: Well, I didnt really tell people about it, but I DID 'talk' about it. I've tried the different methods of LDN, the dry GS method, liquid, I even tried snorting it for about a week, thinking it would be more of a direct approach. Snorting it wasnt too much fun, and it brought back too many memories!;0)))> >> > > My point is since so many people make their own> > > LDN, I feel there should be some kind of support for these folks > as> > > well, they're(we're) still in the same MS group as everyone else.> > > > This group has always served me as an excellent resource for > support wether > > obtaining compounded LDN or Revia and self compounding using the > so called > > liquid method.
