rotisserie chicken

i was at whole foods today to buy a whole bunch of supplies to cook

tomorrow just to find out that when i came home back from the

supermarket i find out there is something wrong with the main gas pipe

in my building and the gas won't be working for 3 days! such a bummer

since i got all this fresh food. i will need to modify and think of

how to use my toaster oven.. opps back to my original question:

i saw that they have a couple of types of rotisserie chicken- one of

which only contains chicken, salt, pepper. i spoke to the deli team

leader and he told me that there is nothing else in the chicken (as

they roast them there on the premises- now come to think of it i

should of asked if they season it on the premises as well or is it

delivered to them already seasoned? wow- i totally typed that

brainwave out loud)

the question is i find it hard to believe that there aren't any other

ingredients on the chicken since the skin looks almost basted. i mean

what about oil? my husband says the fat of the chicken could make it

turn a carmelized juicy brown- not totally crispy but i guess that is

just a matter of the amount of time it's in the rotisserie.

what kind of ingredient do you think could be added to the rotisserie

chicken that they aren't telling me? i am very curious to learn!
