Guest guest
I am new to the group and just had to say a few words about my son 's ABA therapy. He started his part C ABA therapy with Foundations Therapy in Coral Springs with 4 one hr sessions weekly initially. These people are absolutely amazing if anyone is looking for services for their child. This has made all the difference in my family's life. We were hanging by a thread quite literally before we found them and now have nothing but the greatest amount of hope for our son. This is truly the place that will help him to achieve his fullest potential. Foundations has started a program called Therapy Links that is a Mon and Tues or Wed Thurs program from 9- noon. They only have approx 4 children with two therapists. So the kids are practically getting one on one attention. This in conjunction with his one on one part c therapy there has given us a brand new child. He is doing amazing things that yes I was hoping for but wasn't realistically expecting. Foundations is getting ready to expand as they are growing quite rapidly with such a need in the community. I heard they will be expanding their Therapy Links program to open up another Mon Wed or Tues Thurs in the new bldg that will be on Sample and Riverside. Even if it is a distance from where you live it is well worth the drive. I have to drive a half hr each way and don't mind at all. The three women who founded the center are all amazing people. They worked previously at Baudhuin and have also modeled their program similar. Everyone that works at Foundations have become an extension of our family. If you could only see how energetic and excited they are to run up to the parents and tell them how wonderful their children are doing it would warm your heart. They all truly love these kids and want to see them achieve their highest potentials. There is no other place I would even consider sending my son. He will be transitioning to the Baudhuin Oral School in Aug but will most definitely continue his one on one therapy at Foundations. For me it was so frustrating when I had my son's diagnosis but I also finally felt validated that a dr. had recognized that something was wrong. We were on such a roller coaster trying to figure out what we needed to do next. All you can consistently see is that these kids need early intervention, however there are no school setting programs specifically for our kids until they are 3. If you are looking for something like this to complement your child's one on one therapy you MUST check into Foundations Therapy and ask for information on the Therapy Links program they have..... Sorry this was so lenghty, hope I havent lost anyone. I just wanted to share with you the experience that has SAVED our family.
