Guest guest
Hello everyone, it's Ron from Oregon. Well I went with to her appointment with the Neuro Surgeon. He showed us the MRI film, and confirmed the Chiari, but he says that it is very minimal. He does not, and would not suggest surgery. This is the part that I need information about, and if you can reference any type of Dr. reports, or publication that I could show to him I would be greatly appreciated. He says that Chiari is something that a person is born with and does not progress, or get any worse. He also says that most of the symptoms are so vague and common even for people that do not have Chiari that he does not think that they are caused by the malformation. As far as the progression I really don't know, but the symptoms and complaints are so wide spread, and common for all that have Chiari that I have to believe that they are caused by the malformation. has made the dission not to have any surgery at this time, and I agree with her. When I was looking at the MRI film, there really does not seem to be any pressure to the tonsil, or spinal base. I would like to get more information to take back to the Dr. and for a second opion. Thank you in advance BE SAFE, GOD BLESS Ron from Oregon __________________________________________________
