Undereating?

Hey guys...so lately I've realized that I have been undereating at my

meals only to get hungry very quickly. But then when I get hungry

again, guilt kicks in and I eat diet staples like apples, cheese which

then turns into salami then into chips...which I didn't want anyway.

I know I probably should have gone back to the main entree's but that

guilt won't let me. Does this sound familiar? Advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

R

Yup, I've definitely experienced this - and still do occasionally. I get that diet mentality of a snack being only certain types of food - fruit, veggie or dairy. I had a day like you describe a few days ago - I would be hungry, eat just enough to be not hungry, and then be hungry again w/in an hour or so. I did my best to honor my hunger, but I had to do some positive self talk around how often I was eating. I did notice that I'm more comfortable physically if I stop eating when the hunger goes away, rather than waiting to feel full. Feeling un-hungry is more comfortable for me!

Be well!
