Behavioral Therapists wanted for San Diego County:

We are considering candidates with an educational background or focus in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field and preferably experienced in Applied Behavioral Analysis Techniques and/or School Shadowing. Paid training is provided by ASC. Training includes: School Shadowing, Home Therapy Techniques and Social Skills Groups.

The Behavioral Therapist will be part of a team that utilizes Applied Behavioral Analysis and other Behavioral Modification techniques and strategies. These strategies help children with Autistic Disorder to learn in the following areas:

Motor Skills Behavior Self Help Play Skills Language Skills Generalization Academics Social Skills Theory of Mind (perspective taking) Executive Functioning

The Behavioral Therapist will be responsible for:

School shadowing, preschool through high-school AND/OR One-to-One direct home therapy, infants through age 10

In addition to

Attendance at monthly clinical team meetings for each client Attendance at monthly Staff Development trainings
