There was an article in the paper yesterday about a Mom who is a golf pro and has a son on the spectrum 0 she will be holding a fundraiser to get $$ for golf lessons for other ASD kids.

Sofia,If you live in Broward, have you considered contacting one of the high schools (like Plantation high, Cardinal Gibbons, Pine Crest, etc.) that has a golf team. Most of the students, need to earn community service hours, and maybe you could call and ask if anyone would be interested in teaching your child so they can earn the hours. At age 5 when you aren't sure if it is a passing phase or not, you might not want to invest too heavily in the sport. You may also want to look for a set of used child clubs. EBAY or a thrift shop may have some. Grace.

Hi,My son wants to start playing golf. I have never heard of any special needs golf lessons, nor any regular child classes in golf.Does anyone know of a good private instructor or place to learn the basics of golf for a 5 yr old child.Thankful for any information.Sofia Get thousands of games on your PC, your mobile phone, and the web with Windows®.
